Ipatite – The Lost Inca City in the Amazon Jungle

Among all the beauties of the Amazon, the most triumphant and colossal located in the Amazon jungle, represents for the tribal Indians and the peoples of the Inca antiquity, the holy place. However, it was there, the monument of the Inca civilization, as well as the hiding place in case of war and other accommodations of the population.

It can be said that that paradise has 4,500 (four thousand five hundred) hectares of virgin land, with animals, rivers, flowers and fruits. And on the yellow hill, it is forbidden for anyone to climb, dig, take or bring any object from this village. Constituted of an unparalleled wealth, the yellow hill is made entirely of gold and red earth After walking 300 (three hundred) meters of native road, in the center of the road there is a legend in the Inca language, in the background, a residence with stilettos for a townhouse overlooking the center, and on the sides with a minimum distance of 500 (five hundred) meters, a row of houses with roofs of tiles and trees in the seated.

The Solimões River rises in Peruvian land, descending nervously, tearing through several waterfalls, metrifying the true existing borders, enlarging the Peruvian mouth with the passage of time, an unending duel. It was through master Araújo Martins, a Brazilian, who measured the dimensions of the river that has 1,600 kilometers of distances to the sea from the capital of Belém, in the State of Pará. Without aiming at other nipes, the width of the Solimões River meets the riverside towns, totaling 2,700 meters wide, which makes it difficult to cross from one side to the other. After navigating several jungle lands, the Rio Solimões meets the Rio Negro that comes from Bolivia. In the failed attempt to have good relations with Brazil, it remains a natural enemy.

Due to an absolutely incomprehensible management, the Solimões River navigates more than 6,000 (six thousand) kilometers alongside its enemy Rio Negro without mixing a drop of water. Sometimes dueling brutally on the banks of the riverbank. It is known that the Yellow River descends the cliffs without brakes, washes the giant stones and smears the entire yellow and enchanted hill with its color, cutting several marquees and throwing them at the bottom of the river.

Remarkably, it is a charm of perfect and imaginary construction by the builder, who maintained the standard of all the houses, which totaled more than 2,000 (two thousand) buildings, all with pantry and anteroom and a wall separating the houses in green colors. , red and blue, with a totally closed forest, dark and without a shred of sun.

Each residence was occupied and its members could not be seen. It is, therefore, to leave any individual with his head down when entering the closed jungle of the Amazon. Possibly the opening of this labyrinth is perhaps the jungle itself in the means assigned to it.

Without forgetting, the crossing of the Rio Solimões with the Rio Negro, just ahead, a snake with more than 40 (forty) meters, climbs the green bank between the giant trees. Reinforcing this story, whose animalistic snake has blue, yellow and red colors in the form of an ashtray spread over its body. In the real truth, it is a being with astute vision and wisdom in the eyes of those who enter that lost city of Ipatite and never return.

As you know, it was approximately a Tuesday morning in the year 1985, in the month of February. Soon, a deafening noise was heard, leaving the Solimões River and crossing the edge of that river, penetrating the jungle with a huge noise and an unbearable smell.

George and Peter hid in a thicket of green grass, and Jorge described in his notes the colors of the snake and the monstrosity's head, which was approximately 0.50 cm (half a meter) high, with hot, rectangular eyes. And he stated in the manuscript that a couple of agouti, as well as juritis, and other birds found refuge in the same thicket. All stiff with fear, they cast their own luck in that gale that happened every three days.

George, the young photographer, a personal friend of the indigenous Peter, said the following:

- Friend Peter. I'm wasting money on not photographing this big snake. It would be featured in newspapers in Brazil and around the world. Shall we go to her hideout to find out?

Peter replied.

-God forbid I follow that demon. I want peace for my people. Our tribe does not authorize this kind of business. Please! Don't you dare follow that stinking beast into the jungle. Let's go?

Dissatisfied, George replied.

- Calm down Peter. Is nervous? Don't worry. Who will follow her is me. It won't be you. Let's go now? Do I need these photos urgently? You know that my greatest curiosity is to know where the city of the Incas is. That's what I need.

Because he was an Indian and lived exclusively on income from the forest, he answered his friend's request, just accompanying, without saying anything.

After more than two hours in pursuit of the large animal, George observed that the snake climbed a yellow hill and entered a large hole. And he says:

-Peter, the snake lives on that yellow hill. See the crazy thing she did on the hill? I'll take pictures of the hill at a distance of fifty meters. Stay there waiting for me.

Upon hearing George, Peter said:

-Yea. I'm seeing her house. That yellow hill is all gold, and some red earth. Let's go? This place is cursed. We will?

George insisted.

-Please! Wait for me to take more pictures. Don't be ungrateful to me. I need several photos.

Frightened Peter said:

-Don't do that, Mr. George. The snake will follow you. She will get you. Do not take any pictures of this place. Let's go. Throw away. Don't walk with it. She comes after you.

Smiling, replied George.

-I doubt if she comes after me. I doubt. With all this distance, not even flying reaches me. Let's take the river path, quick.

When they arrive at Rio Solimões, Peter and George take the canoe, and suddenly, Peter says.

-See Mr. George, the snake entering the water? Let's row fast!

-Yea. I see, she is almost 70 (seventy) meters from us. Let's row faster.

Without delay, the beast opened its gigantic mouth and swallowed the young journalist and photographer George in one fell swoop. Afraid, Peter throws himself into the water and swims to the other side of the river.

Upon arriving at the Tribo, Peter goes to the chief and narrates the entire description of the facts. Promising the chief not to return to the place again. And the chief says the following;

-All people involved in the wealth of others lost their lives. They have already tried to sell all the gold and lost their lives. Cursed is that place, known as Ipatite- the lost city of the Incas. Our God will drive away the cursed with our silence.
