The girl from the village of Kalahari
There is no doubt that the planet Earth represents a tortoise sitting on a large elephant, as the Hindus imagined. As we know, the elephant is a peculiar animal, it has a large trunk for bathing, drinking and catching food, and it has a pair of sharp white tusks. In fact, the elephant is the largest mammal on earth, and its journeys have hampered its real wanderings because of man, in the inhuman exploitation of ivory. Notably, the interests in these animals seek disorderly profit from their slaughter, in search of ivory, to captive breeders, circus owners, tourism and other beauty items.
We know that there are only three herds: One in India, in Africa belonging to the savannah, known as and the white elephant in Asia. In other words, the elephant is a pure exotic animal, for being attentive, obedient and, by the way, very sensitive and affectionate with its people.
In other parts, it is very sad to see the Elephant Sanctuary, its bones exposed to the sun and rain, without any guard. As is well known, the African elephant is the predominant animal in savannas, open deserts, rivers and sands. Its coat of reddish brown fur, its ears are smaller than its tusks.
Also known as the Calaari Desert, it has an area of 900,000 km2 and is located in southern Africa, spread over Botswana, Namibia and South Africa. And its name derives from the word kgalagadi which means "the great thirst". It has a hot desert climate and has large reserves of coal, copper, nickel and uranium. It is there that one of the largest diamond mines, known as Orapa, in Makgadikgadi is located. It is in this place called "Louvre do Deserto", a very well-known archaeological site due to the fact that its rock art collections are considered the largest in the world.
In March 2022, Elizangela, an eleven-year-old girl residing in Mammoth Village, Kalari, goes to her aunt's house, and sees a white toyota, standing and asking her aunt.
-Aunt Maria, who are these men in this pickup?
Mary replied; -I don't know my daughter. But your father said they are inerpers. Animal killers.
At that moment, the girl took off running, down slopes, streams and arriving in the great desert of Kalarari. The girl blew a trumpet made of dry wood, calling the animals and that there was danger. The lions, zebras and giraffes ran, some elephants arrived where the girl, and headed for her den. Elizangela, upon arriving at the elephants' abode, asked her mother elephant to take care of her only 12-year-old baby. Only in this way, the girl can save her puppy from death, taking it to her house in the Village. Without social instructions, the girl taught all manners, such as smiling, happy and sad, defense and her weapons of protection. It is noteworthy that every day, the elephant was waiting for the girl Elisangela to carry water, fruits and bathe.
Elisangela's father was called Romualdo, and he said the following: Elisangela, the life you want is riding up and down this elephant. You have nothing else to do. She with her head twisted, said: -Father, I already got water for you to bathe, I already got all the fruits for sale at the street fair. I've done everything. What do you still want? -I talked about the elephant. -Father, the elephant is mine and I own it. Do you want to give my elephant to the men to kill and only take the tusks?
He replied. -I don't want any trouble with them. They are doctors, doctors, economists, big people from the US elite. They paid me well and left. -Father, you are indicating them to kill the animals in the savannah. If they are trained, they should protect our animals, not kill them. They're snaipers, and they want the ivory. I will no longer accept this here. I will write to the Government about this. The government will help me.
-Should the government stop hunting? How are we going to live? What are we going to eat? -Father, living like other people, without indicating the animals to death.
-I do not do this. I just charge my service and tell them where they are. Whether they take it down or not is their problem. On an afternoon in July 2022, 04 (four) Toyotas with uniformed guards and 04 (four) ispnaipers arrived at Mammonth Village. Elisangela ran, and climbed a tall tree, and blew the wooden trumpet, sounding loud throughout the Kalahari Desert. The animals ran out in search of help, the birds singing and warning, the lions, zebras, giraffes, wild boars, guinus and other animals broke through the emigrations.
Upon arriving at her house on the back of the Elephant. One man said.
-Where's the gun? I'm going to kill this one now. It has the big fang. The man took the gun from the car, and pointed the rifle at the animal and said:
-Get down there girl. Get off that animal. I'm going to kill this animal now and it's already paid. Get down now! The girl said:
-Kill me, but don't kill my elephant. Our only wealth. The snaiper fired a shot in the air to frighten him.
-So, you're not going down?
At that moment, from above the elephant, Elisangela pulled a piece of wood and played it, calling the elephants to save her. The neighborhood that watched everything, entered their houses, while a large herd of elephants arrived, some broke cars and weapons, men ran in fear.
After breaking the snaiper's weapon, the girl went down with the herd of elephants to the lake, at that moment, two vehicles from Kalari Park arrested the 04 men smugglers of ivory.
