All the flowers are wet with dew,

Beautiful and so lovely Maria Augusta da Silva Caliari,

You are a poet who paints the sky with her eyes,

And the earth of our planet makes me an aquarium.

Girl from Pariquera-açu, you are from my Itapecuru river,

Educated and with the highest grade in life's lessons,

So, you turned the canoe and told me that you are a teacher,

Drawing with the pen you have a good heart.

Oh! My poet from fresh water São Paulo,

Where the Ipiranga river ran in the Christmas current,

Let's dance in the warmth of good intentions,
